In-Person Meeting for Worship

An in-person Quaker Meeting for Worship is planned for 10:30 Sunday 9 August 2020 in the Physic Garden, Faversham. Social distancing and appropriate hygiene will be observed. Anyone is welcome to attend. Details about, and directions to, the Physic Garden can be found here.


Due to UK government restrictions in response to the ongoing corona virus outbreak, in-person Quaker Meetings for Worship in the Fleur de Lys Hall are currently suspended. Online Meetings for Worship continue to take place. Woodbrooke Study Centre hosts 11 online Meetings for Worship each week. Members of the public are encouraged to visit the relevant page of the Woodbrooke Study Centre website for details about how to attend.

The start of Gatefield Lane can be found between Cosgroves Café and the Alexander Centre. There is then an opening on the left opposite Faversham Counselling. Go through the opening to find a door leading to a flight of stairs up to the Fleur-de-Lis Hall.

Bus stops: on Newton Road and on Preston Street


An external, automatic wheelchair lift is available on prior request to Caroline Clarkstone, but may also require some assistance.
Ground floor, disabled-accessible toilet.
